CFBIU IMPACT
Canadians were integral to the founding of Bar-Ilan University and can take great pride that, since its inception, Bar-Ilan has played a meaningful role in educating the scientists and scholars who have made, and continue to make, a significant mark on all aspects of Israel’s progress and growth. Through the remarkable work being carried out in the fields of exact and life sciences, business, law, and Jewish studies, the excellence achieved at Bar-Ilan has led the way to help build, enrich, and secure a stronger Israel.
Canadians can be proud of our numerous contributions to Bar-Ilan. The Begin-Sadat (BESA) Center for Strategic Studies, The Dafna Izraeli Center for Gender & Women’s Studies, The Martin (Szusz) Land of Israel Studies Department, The Arnold and Leona Finkler Hall for Human Rights, The Norman and Johanne Sternthal Torat Eretz Yisrael Program, the Gabi and Louis Weisfeld School of Social Work, and the Azrieli Faculty of Medicine are just a few of the many contributions that Canada has made to make Bar-Ilan the institution it is today.
You too can share this commitment to academic excellence and unite with Israel’s brightest and talented minds by supporting Bar-Ilan University.

Diversity is key on the BIU campus, and tolerance and civility our operating code.
THE CANADA INNOVATION FUND:
The advancements being made at Bar-Ilan are transforming our world. Our multidisciplinary, goal-oriented approach to science means that our researchers are coming up with the discoveries and technologies that are improving life for Israelis, Jews, and all of humanity.
The Canada Innovation Fund is a Canadian initiative to help accelerate some of the most crucial projects underway – most particularly, in the areas of national security, renewable energy, and bioconvergence – that will ensure Israel maintains its place as a best-in-class country. Our new Innovation Fund is a way for Canadians to express their Zionist pride, which I think is especially important in today’s uncertain environment.
