Furnished with the latest technologies, students have access to the world’s most advanced laboratories equipped with best-in-class innovations: an imaging and super-resolution lab, a robotics lab, an integrated circuits and VLS lab, a nano-electronics lab, and hardware defense and speech processing labs – the only ones of their kind in Israel.

BIU’s Department of Computer Science is ranked among the very best in the world and is considered a global leader in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, cryptography and natural language processing. The department’s cyber-security center is a vital source of knowledge for Israel’s government and fosters collaboration with industry on cutting-edge research and counterterrorism measures.
